Photographs chiefly documenting social and political activity of women and lesbians in the San Francisco Bay Area, including such subjects as the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco; various demonstrations pertaining to gay rights, women's rights and labor; the representation of women in advertising; and a 1973 women's sit-in at the Berkeley Public Library pertaining to discrimination of one of the library's female employees.
